When did I last post something about anime or manga? 2010? Last year I got hooked to watching American and British shows and I kinda forgot about anime/manga and Asian dramas. Now, I’m getting back to them. I think I won’t be able to stop being an anime fan. It’s part of my life and I won’t deny it. Tho I can say that I think there are less and less recent anime that I like unlike before when there were just tons of anime that became my favorites. Now, I find myself re-watching old anime series and catching up to just Naruto: Shippuuden. I am still looking out for new anime to watch every new season but most of them are either harem, loli, moe and just.. boobs you know? But don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of great anime series the got produced in recent years. Like for me, recent one like Chihayafuru, then Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika, AnoHana, Hanasaku Iroha, Steins;Gate, Angel Beats!, Durarara!!, Eden of the East and going way back, Clannad. Of course, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood too but I consider it as manga and it’s actually one of my faves.

Speaking of favorites, my all-time favorite mahou shoujo series will have a remake next year~! And that is – Sailor Moon!

Sailor Moon recently celebrated its 20th anniversary and I guess to celebrate that , they are doing a remake next year. I am so freaking excited~! I’ve read that they will follow the manga more closely this time. Well, they should! The manga was much better. I just hope it will be as good as the remakes of Fullmetal Alchemist and Hunter x Hunter. And I hope Usagi will be less annoying. Kekeke.

Anyway, what I’m saying is, it’s so hard to choose with just the artwork and synopsis sometimes because it’s like you have to check it all to see what’s really good (or within my taste) and that’s kind of a pain for me. LOL I guess it’s possible I’m missing a lot more good ones out there. Err whatever, I’ll just stumble upon what I can stumble upon. XD With the current season (summer 2012), I checked a few anime and the only one that I’m gonna continue to watch is Natsuyuki Rendevouz.

In case you want to know about this series, here’s the synopsis from ANN:

Ryosuke works part-time as a florist. He has bad eyesight, a pure heart, and a secret crush on the store manager, Rokka. Unfortunately for him, Rokka swore off love 8 years ago. But when Ryosuke goes up to her apartment on the second floor, he runs into a good-looking half-naked man. At first upset, he learns that this isn’t Rokka’s live-in boyfriend; he’s the ghost of her late husband, Atsushi. She can’t see him, and Ryosuke decides not to give up on her, even with a dead husband standing in the way.

It’s very intriguing. And it makes you want to keep on watching it I guess. Plus, it’s anime about adult life so it’s not something unrealistic tho I guess except for the ghost part. XD
