I’m actually kind of still working on this current WordPress theme right now. In fact, I’m not yet done improving this one. Well, it is actually finished already. The customization for Kettobase is what I’m still doing. DONE!

If you’ve seen the previous version, you’ve noticed that I changed it a little. Actually, it got changed quite a bit. I wasn’t satisfied with the previously look so I added some colors (style switcher) and some features. The core codes has been changed actually. I made it so it’s easily customizable. I made it that way because I’m planning to release this as a free theme soon. *crosses fingers for template sponsors* As much as I really want to release all my themes for free, I need money and this is my only job. =P

Enough of that, that kind of topic is more for my other blog, Technowish.Net, which sadly, I haven’t updated since February. T^T Hopefully with the free theme release, I may be able to update it. Let me talk about the features I added when I’m ready to post the theme. Stay tuned! ▼ω▼

Anyway, last Sunday I went to see my high school friends. I haven’t seen them since December. To be honest, I was kind of avoiding them because all I did was gain weight recently and I don’t want them to see me this way. Not that they haven’t seen me this big but I want to go public when I’m… smaller. Kekeke

It was a long day and although my feet ached so bad (and I’m still feeling it up until now), I had so much fun. Initially, I tagged along and went to church with them. It is my first time attending a church with a foreign preacher. I’m not sure if I’m ever going to go back there, but if ever, I guess the one in Parañaque is much closer. Anyway, I’m a catholic and I’m not sure what I’m doing to be honest. Hmm Well, it’s not like I have faith in the catholic church anyway, with all the silly things I’m hearing about them. But, err. I guess it’s safe for me to not talk about this.

After that, we went to ATC or was it Metro? And walked around until I, uhm, backed out? I initially planned to go home early so I excused myself only for them to decide to go home as well (We were with one of my friends’ family). It was kind of embarrassing because I felt I was being my usual KJ self. :/ After much talk (in the jeep at that~), We ended up going to SM Southmall and one of my friends treated us to Giligan’s. Yay for free food~

After our late lunch, we (my friends) parted from my friend’s family and went shopping. I ended up buying a new shirt and a new bag.

Yep, a union jack bag. I’ve been wanting to have one for ages, ever since I saw an expensive one a few months ago. It’s now obvious I settled for the way-cheap one. I still can’t afford that expensive one, unfortunately. :/

Floyd texted me shortly after and told me it was okay to go home late. And I finally did around 9pm. I went to his workplace so we can go home together. I was really, really, really tired when we finally got home. My body was aching all over (not just my feet actually), imagine – I think I was walking/standing for maybe 6-8 hours that day (゜ロ゜) but it was worth it. ;) Till next time I guess, when I have the money that is.

I’m back. I can’t believe I’m back blogging. I think it’s been like a month since which is a shame because I swore to myself that I’m gonna blog daily. I know. What a total fail. DX

I really need that push that will make me blog again (or do something that doesn’t involve procrastinating) so I decided to make a new layout again. (I know, again!) Actually, I sold the previous layout hehehe so I don’t have the right to use it anymore. Thus, my need to make a new layout. The current layout, which I want to call “Breaking The Habit” (because I want to break my unproductive ways which started… last November! T.T), is based from a draft layout I made for YGLadies. I’m not sure about that YGL layout’s outcome. I bet the team will add fansite-y things that will make it awesomely different. Me, I fell in love with the simplicity of it that I decided to use it. I hope I made it a bit different. (And better?)

A lot of things happened in the past month that I didn’t blog which may or may not be personal, I tell you. Actually, days after I posted the last entry here, I planned the things that I’m going to blog. I even started a Google docs document for it. But as you can see, all that planning didn’t happened. I guess it’s better for me to be spontaneous when it comes to blogging. Not just with blogging actually, the more I plan something, the more I fail to do it. orz So I guess, I’ll just stop planning things and just do whatever is in front of me.

Anyway, back to the things that happened:

I recently got my Catholic confirmation
Usually, confirmations happen during high school but I skipped mine because I hated attending these social religious things. Back then, the confirmation seminar lasts for a like a month – two maybe and it was too long for me so I skipped it. Actually, I won’t attend this confirmation if only it’s not a requirement for a church wedding. Yes, the wedding is gonna happen. I just don’t know when. Right now, we’re still low on funds so there’s no definite date yet. I thought it’s gonna be on June but looks like it’s gonna be pushed.

Might be an eventful May
My tita (aunt) is coming back home for a vacation with her family. And I think they are gonna stay in our place. Now, I don’t know how we will all fit in here but they are welcome to stay! In return, my tita gave me funds to buy an aircon. Yay! Will I finally experience aircon at home? kekeke Floyd is also planning to buy a bunk bed and a new cabinet. I’m excited for all the renovations and everything.

Watching too many post-apocalyptic shows
Aside from The Walking Dead which just finished its third season (tbh, I didn’t like the season 3 finale), I realized I’m watching too many post-apocalyptic shows. Like, Revolution. When it went on hiatus last December, I thought I was gonna drop this show. The lead girl is just too annoying and well I guess I thought the story didn’t interest me much for me to continue watching it. I actually just finished watching the latest episodes today and I must say I think it’s getting better. Another post-apocalyptic show that I decided to watch is Falling Skies which is also good in my opinion. Another one with a similar setting (Aliens!) is Defiance which just recently started. I think I like Falling Skies more than Defiance but it’s good to see Julie Benz in a show. She will always be Rita to me.

My favorite Itazura na Kiss is back

A big thanks to my friend Thea for informing me about the Itazura na Kiss jdrama remake. It’s one of my fangirl wish that ItaKiss will have a new jdrama and it came true! I was really asdfghjjkldfgdfd happy when I found out and I’m loving this version so much! I love Miki Honoka as Kotoko. I think she is perfect. I was skeptic about Furukawa Yuki as Naoki at first (maybe because Joe Cheng‘s Zhi Shu has been etched into my mind) but he won me over. I especially love his perfect, flawless English pronunciation. That’s how Naoki should speak English. “On Purpose”! LOL

Sorry this is a day late. I was busy. hehe Anyway! Scary episode is scary! Love every second of it. The manga and anime version of this episode were pretty interesting but this one is just plain scary. Really scary. Did I mention that I love it?

I specifically love Himawari’s story — *LOL at the this happened to a friend of a friend* I know she’s the person she was talking about. It’s just sad for her that it’s happened but personally and to be honest, she’s ok for me in the manga but in this drama, she’s really annoying but I feel her.

I think I’m starting to like Sometani Shota. He’s really good as Watanuki and I like that he is acting a bit like his manga version. You know, that one which he keeps complaining and everything. XD

At first, I didn’t like the fact that they changed his backstory here but now I think it’s fitting that they changed it and that it involves his mother. I feel sad for him because of all that he went through. I know he hates his ability to see ayakashi. I thought it was only because it’s a kind of a bit bothersome to have an ability like that. I think this is the case in the case in the manga. But with this live-action, with all the mother stuff, they gave him more space for character development. I like it.

Anywaaaaay, I am excited to watch when it’s clear that he NEEDS TO BE WITH DOUMEKI in order for him to get rid of ayakashi. *WataDou shipper mode on!* Kekekeke.

As for Doumeki, I really like his character development in this episode. For a second I thought he’ll only be an extra due to the lack of involvement in the past episodes. LOL

I really like this scene when he calls Watanuki’s name. asdfghjkl; Sorry for the DouWata shipper in me. XD

Yay! Doumeki saves the day! He’s kinda cute, no?

Yuuko is suggesting that Watanuki should hang out with him. Will we see more WataDou moments? XD Speaking of Yuuko, I’m so loving that that they are showing her more playful side in this episode~

So I started watching HBO Girls (wiki). Season 1 was great. I just love watching about modern women and their struggles. I like the comedy in season 1 and the sex scenes are well, sex scenes. LOL I also love that they are using some really awesome music at the end of every episodes. The one that was really memorable was when they used Wonderwall by Oasis. I love that song!

I find myself getting into the story. Sometimes, I can relate to all the girls. Hannah and her emotions. Marnie and her struggles. Jessa and her beliefs. Shoshanna and her virgin self. There was this episode about Jessa and her Dad. I totally, well kind of, relate to it. When you start getting emotional and honest with your parents, you know, they always fail you. Ugh well, anyway…

Adam and Hannah were the cutest couple! I so love them in season 1.

hohoho Yeah, mostly sex scenes I know but they have really cute moments like the during that episode when they attended a party and Adam asked Hannah kind of angrily if she wants him to be her boyfriend and if that was what she wants since they were only like “fun” buddies so far. They end up in a taxi with an annoyed Marnie and Adam (?). Hannah was smiling. I love that episode.

Sadly, season 2 for me is such a drag. Hannah is starting to be annoying. I don’t know if it’s maybe because I’m also emotional and whiny and depressed and I kinda (well I said kinda) see myself in her? I hated that Marnie moved out and even Elijah. It’s like she’s pushing her friends away. That’s what I did irl, and I hate myself for it.

And’s what with the OCD stuff? I know it’s been hinted but I feel like it’s not needed – I mean, there’s so much going on already.

Anyway, I also hate it that Hannah and Adam are so not together this season.I was actually near to shipping them but Adam is being a jerk and a psychopath or sociopath or whatever lately so I don’t know.

Overall, I thought I’d love this show but right now, I’m more on the hate-this-show side. I guess I like this show but I hate season 2 so far. But I still have hope! I will keep on watching this.
