Asian Vampires and Lady Gaga

Welcome back! I love receiving comments! <3 So I hope you'll leave one~ You're here after all, ne? I'll return comments as much as I can (: You may want to subscribe to my RSS feed. Also, I'm open for link exchanges. Thanks for visiting!

Glee Cast performing Bad Romance

I’ve been waiting for this episode since I found out about it two weeks ago. I’ve learned about Lady Gaga before but I got really “introduced” to her songs because of Rockband. Anyway, it’s really fun to see them perform Bad Romance! I’m glad Santana is getting more parts now. I heard she and Brittany became or will become regulars. Good for them~ <3

Even tho I think the Rachel-Shelby storyline is a bit forced for me because, from what I’ve read, people wanted them to be mother and daughter due to their facial features, I really really like their Poker Face version. (thumbs up)

Lolwut to Quinn dancing to Bad Romance. Isn’t she pregnant? (and should be taking her vitamin supplements~) She’s going to give birth soon, anyway.

And Asian vampires? They are the most vicious of all the vampires. :laugh2:

Back from… err, vacation?

Tadaima~ I’m back! I was out of the online world for almost a week. I was in Las Piñas for our fiesta last May 2nd. I stayed longer because I bonded with my cousins. ♥

  • We had a decent handa or food for the fiesta. I kinda ate a lot. (–___–);
  • Most of the time we just played rockband: I’m getting better at playing the drums~ ♫
  • I didn’t really watched or participated in any of the fiesta activities. We were busy with — the Nintendo Wii/Rockband. But we have a video of my mom in the annual parade.
  • Has strained my leg and knee muscles because of seriously playing Wario Ware: Smooth Moves in Nintendo Wii.
  • Got emo with some family matters. orz
  • Find out I have a lot of gray hair. I don’t know what’s the cause. Am I getting old? Which reminds me, I should prevent hair loss.

I will go back there later by midnight because well, it’s election day tomorrow. (who will you vote?) and my mom’s birthday.

PS: New layout! :haha:

(J)Rockband Fun + Spring 2010 Anime/Current Manga reads Post

Floyd found some custom J-rock songs for the game rockband. (Actually it’s for Frets on Fire but can be used in Rockband too and Guitar Hero) Isn’t that cool?  There are some anime songs from Naruto, Bleach and FMA. And J-rock like L’Arc~en~Ciel, FLOW, The Pillows and even YUI~  (thumbs up) But the songs are either for expert or hard and have no lyrics for the vocals. Floyd is currently checking/editing YUI’s “Again” (FMAB first OP) so I can play it on easy guitar mode.  (heart2)   (hearts) (Because I kinda suck? at playing guitar on rockband. Tho I’m getting better in medium mode. =P )

Speaking of Floyd, he has a lot of documents here that needs sorting. I think it needs custom presentation folders or something cute and colorful (lol) to make our cabinet/shelf look good. :laugh2:

I’m actually kinda lazy to blog so here’s some  quick comments on some Anime and Manga I follow:

  • Fullmetal Alchemist chapter 106 - EPIC. Goodbye Pride? It’s so near the end. It will hurt to see this series go.  I’ve been reading this for three years if I’m not mistaken. >o<
  • Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood – The new OP song is way too angsty. I’m not liking it actually.  But I guess I’ll eventually get use to it just like in Golden Time Love (now, I so love this song! ♥_♥ ) and Period.
  • Kimi ni Todoke – The New Year chapter/arc is a good ending for the anime. I mean, because after that, the story kinda goes to a different direction, imho.  I’m not sure if there’ll be a second season but I’m hoping. And I need to catch up on the manga!
  • Nodame Cantabile Finale – I’ve blogged before that I was disappointed with the ending in the manga. I think the anime used the same ending but for some reason, I like the way they presented in than the manga did.
  • K-ON!! (or K-ON! season 2) – It’s nice too see the keionbu gals again. I still kinda hate Yui’s anime-style singing voice. The ED sequence is just love. :heart2:

Ooooh. I suddenly want to end this entry right now.  My other anime picks for this season (Spring 2010) are  Working!! and Arakawa Under the Bridge. I don’t  want to pick  more than these because I don’t want to drop anything. Ja ne.

Happy Birthday, Floyd

I found old posts from old blogs of mine from 2007-2008. How cool is that? I thought I had lost them! I found my 2008 posts in my iGoogle account. (I was looking into my google account the other day and clicked the iGoogle link) I guess, I had configured it before and added my old blog feed in it. Good thing the items were still there! Then I remembered that Google has this website cache thing so I looked for my old dead blogs but I don’t know how to go there outside the search engine. Then I stumbled upon archive.org so I searched for my 2007 blog’s cache and it’s there. I was kinda amused because I posted some meaningful (I don’t know to you, but it’s meaningful to me.) entries before unlike now I guess? Anyway, I will import those posts here one of these days.

Looking back, I think my life hasn’t change that much. Of course, there are changes – it’s part of life – but I think those that define me as me still exist. It’s still here within me. I can’t really explain it.

Nothing new, exciting, or fun has really happened lately. I’m working on re-coding a few themes. I’ve been hooked to Rockband and I’ve been watching a lot of Japanese movies for the past two days – I will blog about that sooner or later.

Today is Floyd’s birthday. There’s no celebration! I kinda hate it but I can’t do anything since I’m not even the celebrant. Argh, I want an ice cream.
