I so can’t wait for the next episode of Shiki. I’m not a huge fan of scary stories but when I watch one, I can get hooked. Like with Shiki – good thing it’s in a level in which I can watch it all by myself.
Shiki’s plot is so cliche – people in a small village die one by one due to – well, vampires! At first, the village doctor thought it’s an epidemic but now he’s thinking that the deaths are caused by okiagari/risen/vampires. Gosh, it took him 6 episodes to realized it. The vampires are old-school cliche too (unlike those Twilight gay vampires) – they die in sunlight or with a stake in the heart.

What I like about this anime – 1) It scares me. 2) The art style is so unique – almost like the guys are all bishies 2) I like the slow pacing and thus, the story.
What I hate about this anime – 1) That weird, Masao guy. Why can’t he just die?

This is late but here’s my AniDora or my Anime and Dorama picks for the summer of 2010.
For Anime, I try not to pick so much because I tend to drop series
when there’s just too many in my list. And since it seems like the trend for this summer is occult/horror anime which isn’t really my thing, I think two series are just enough:
Since I just dig the occult, Seikimatsu Occult Gakuin is definitely on my list. I’m not initially watching Shiki but I tried episode one and I’m liking the story so far. It kinda reminds me of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni.
For doramas, it’s kinda a different thing – I like to watch as many doramas as I can every season:
Aside from Moyashimon Live Action (the microbes are so cute!
) and Unubore Deka, I’m watching Nihonjin no Shiranai Nihongo (in which you can learn some Nihongo stuff) and of course Natsu no Koi wa Nijiiro ni Kagayaku or Summer Romance shines in rainbow color (what a long title~ so Matsumoto Jun~ish and Arashi~ish)
Speaking of MatsuJun, normal people think he needs testosterone cream that works
but I think he’s manly in his own way.
PS: I take that back. MatsuJun is just… sparkling.

When it comes to fashion, probably, most people will think, right away, of women’s fashion. I would think that. And I think some men might think they can’t be fashionable because they’re “guys”. Well, they’re wrong. There are men’s clothing that will make them look more sexy and stylish.
Anyway.
FMA Brotherhood episode 60 is woah. I’m a manga reader but I’m not sure if I’ve read some parts of episode 60 in the manga. Especially this:

I must have missed this. Is this the part which is like in End of Evangelion, like everyone is saying (and complaining)?
Also, I’ve read the the last 2 pages of the last chapter of FMA have been leaked. I’m not going to look for it. I don’t want spoilers!
I’m downloading Glee’s season 1 finale episode right now. Will blog about it later!
EDIT: I found a great WordPress to LJ crossposter plugin!
It’s called Live+Press. I’m so happy because it can even crosspost moods and music from this blog (kettobase.com)
